N. Stephen Smith

Mr. Stephen Smith is a Senior Consultant for Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) in the Ann Arbor, Michigan office. He holds a BA degree in History from Texas A&M University, an MA from the University of Michigan, and has completed all coursework towards a PhD at the University of Michigan. He assists on litigation and proactive consulting matters, specifically related to product liability, occupational safety, transportation and construction safety, recreational production safety, industrial and consumer health and safety, time and motion studies, video analyses, and development of warnings and instructions. He has extensive experience in conducting research related to warnings, transportation, and organizational safety, engineering standards, statutes, and codes, as well as best practices/standards of care.
